Clear, Fair, and Transparent Refund Terms

This policy explains refund eligibility, non-refundable payments, digital payment link terms, project cancellation rules, and the process for requesting a refund.

Payment Link Payments

All payments made through payment links, UPI, QR codes, payment gateways, online invoices, or similar digital methods are considered authorized by the customer and are final.

Non-Refundable After Work Starts

Advance payments, booking amounts, completed milestones, and custom development work are non-refundable once planning, design, development, or delivery has started.

Review Timeline

Refund requests are reviewed within 7 to 10 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 15 business days, subject to bank or payment provider timelines.

Important Digital Payment Clause

Payments made through payment links, QR codes, UPI, payment gateway links, or online invoices are non-refundable unless there is a duplicate payment, a verified processing error attributable to Skylith Infotech, or a refund is required under applicable law. Customers must verify the amount, service details, and recipient information before completing any transaction.

Refunds May Be Considered For

  • Duplicate payment for the same invoice
  • Multiple payments made accidentally for one service
  • Payment processed due to a verified technical error
  • Payment received but service was not activated or started
  • Mutual cancellation before substantial work begins

Refunds Will Not Be Granted For

  • Customer changes their mind or no longer needs the service
  • Delay caused by the customer or missing required information
  • Customer refuses approved deliverables or completed milestones
  • Work has started, service has been delivered, or project is partially completed
  • Source code, digital files, credentials, or access has already been shared
  • Customer violates the agreement, scope, payment terms, or usage terms

Non-Refundable Payments

Project booking amount, token amount, and advance payment
Consultation fees and requirement gathering charges
Design, development, API integration, and technical work already completed
Custom software development charges after work has started
Domain, hosting, SSL, cloud, license, and infrastructure costs
Payment gateway charges, taxes, government fees, and banking charges

1. Purpose

This Refund Policy explains when customers may be eligible for a refund and when payments made to Skylith Infotech are final and non-refundable.

2. Scope of Services

This policy applies to payments made for software development, website development, mobile app development, SaaS products, API development, UI/UX design, cloud services, server setup, annual maintenance contracts, consulting, digital products, hosting, and other technology-related services.

3. Custom Development Services

Custom software, websites, applications, integrations, designs, and digital solutions are built specifically for each client. Once work has started, the planning, design, development time, technical resources, and engineering effort cannot be recovered. Therefore, custom development charges are non-refundable after work has commenced.

4. Subscription and Recurring Services

Subscription fees, maintenance fees, hosting fees, and recurring service charges are generally non-refundable. Cancellation stops future billing only and does not create a refund for a partially used billing period unless required by applicable law or agreed in writing by Skylith Infotech.

5. Project Cancellation

If a customer cancels a project before work begins, a refund may be considered after deducting administrative charges, payment gateway fees, taxes, and any cost already incurred. If the project is cancelled after work has started, payments already made are non-refundable and completed milestones remain payable.

6. Milestones and Deliverables

Milestone-based payments are non-refundable once the corresponding milestone has been completed, shared, approved, or accepted through email, messaging platforms, project management tools, or any other written communication. Minor bugs, change requests, or requests beyond the agreed scope do not qualify as grounds for a refund.

7. Third-Party Costs

Payments made toward third-party services are non-refundable. This includes domain registration, hosting, SSL certificates, cloud infrastructure, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Google Play fees, Apple Developer fees, SMS or email gateway charges, WhatsApp Business API charges, software licenses, payment gateway setup fees, government fees, and similar external costs.

8. Taxes and Transaction Fees

Applicable taxes, GST, payment gateway charges, banking charges, transaction fees, and government levies are generally non-refundable unless a refund is required under applicable law.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are requested to contact Skylith Infotech before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute. Fraudulent, incorrect, or unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of services and may be challenged with supporting transaction records, invoices, communication history, and delivery evidence.

10. Limitation of Refund Liability

The maximum refund liability of Skylith Infotech shall not exceed the amount actually received from the customer for the specific service under review, after deducting applicable charges where permitted by law.

11. Policy Updates

Skylith Infotech reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on this website and will become effective from the date of publication.

To request a refund review, customers must contact Skylith Infotech with complete payment and service details.

  • Invoice number
  • Payment reference or transaction ID
  • Date and amount of payment
  • Reason for refund request
  • Registered email address and contact number

Approved refunds will be credited only to the original payment method or bank account used for the transaction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
